If you want to transfer audio titles to an iPod® or iPad™, please note the following…

• OverDrive Download Station is not able to transfer to iPhones®.
  
  
• OverDrive MP3 Audiobook titles can be transferred to iPods and iPads.
  
  
• If your iPod or iPad is set to automatically sync your iTunes® music library to your device, you cannot transfer content using OverDrive Download Station. iPods and iPads must be set to manually manage files in order to transfer content using OverDrive Download Station. To set your iPod or iPad to manually manage files, connect the device to your home computer and check the 'Manually manage music…' box on the device settings screen in iTunes.
  
  
• If you are using a Mac®-formatted iPod or iPad, you cannot transfer content using OverDrive Download Station. To use this Download Station, your iPod or iPad must be formatted for use with Windows.  However, you can use the 'at-home' version of this website along with OverDrive Media Console to download and transfer many audiobook titles to your iPod, iPad, or iPhone.
  
  
• Many OverDrive WMA Audiobook titles can be transferred to iPods and iPads (where permitted by the publisher) using OverDrive Download Station. The publisher of each title decides whether or not to allow the title to be transferred to an Apple® device; this decision is at the publisher's discretion. To check whether an OverDrive WMA Audiobook title can be transferred to an iPod or iPad, search for the desired title, and click the title to bring up the page displaying details about the title. At this page, look for the heading 'Digital Rights Information'. The information listed here will clearly indicate whether or not the publisher has enabled transfer to Apple® device functionality.
  
  
• Before OverDrive WMA Audiobook titles are transferred to iPods and iPads, the DRM-protected WMA files that make up the audiobook are converted. The conversion process typically takes a few minutes per Part, resulting in transfer times that are longer than what you typically see on your iPod or iPad.
  
  
• OverDrive Download Station cannot transfer titles to OverDrive Media Console for iPhone on iPod touch®, iPad or iPhone.
